What does it mean to live sustainably if you live in the city, work full time, have a family or multiple other commitments and already need several more hours in the day? How are you supposed to simplify and slow down when it’s all you can do to keep up with things as they are? What does “sustainability” really mean anyway?
We’d like to take you on a four-part exploration of these questions, using our newly published book “The Lady Farmer Guide to Slow Living,” to guide you into fresh perspectives on the challenges of our fast paced, information over-loaded and multi-tasking, twenty-first century existence. We will look at how industry and commerce separate us from the sources of our daily human needs, examining to what extent we have unconsciously surrendered our decision making to brands telling us how to live.
Lady Farmer believes that in simply tapping back into our innate connections with nature, the earth, and each other, we can reclaim our autonomy and well-being, reduce the stress in our lives, and ultimately be happier. This series is an opportunity to deep-dive into sustainable living and come away with actionable steps to living a simpler, healthier and more joyful life.
Price includes the newly published book “The Lady Farmer Guide to Slow Living,” light bites and sips, and a beautiful journal for notes. Classes are held from 6:30-8:30PM.
