Our cosmetics are the highest performing in the non-toxic category and range from ultra minimalist formulas to advanced fusions of skincare + makeup. Products are free of synthetic fragrance and responsibly but minimally preserved (preservatives are crucial to maintaining product safety, but we permit only the gentlest ones). Becky is the founder and curator behind Take Care, an online destination for thoughtfully selected organic, plant-based and high-performing skincare, beauty and wellness essentials. With a deep appreciation for holistic skincare, ingredient integrity and ritual-based self care, she created Take Care as a space to discover small-batch brands that support both skin health and everyday wellbeing.
Originally founded as a neighborhood shop and skincare destination in Washington, DC, Take Care has since evolved into an online-only store serving a broader community seeking intentional, effective and beautifully crafted products. Becky’s approach to skincare is rooted in the belief that caring for skin should feel grounding, approachable and deeply personal, blending results-driven formulations with daily rituals that support overall wellbeing.
